What is your favorite holiday? Why is it your favorite?
Now it is not because of the obvious, me calling myself Dan America and cosplaying Hank Hill from King of the Hill.
It’s because on the 4th of July most people in America are outside, having barbecues, going to local events and there are Fire Works at night.
It is a day where there is an event at the end of the night where you have to be outside to enjoy it.
I have a a lot of found family memories associated with the 4th of July.
Sunburns and Hot Dogs, vacations at beaches and lakes where there was fishing in involved.
Friends, family and great sausage sandwiches.
All on the 4th of July.
My nieces birthday is on the 4th of July. The 4th of July will not just be forever ingrained in my memory but a part of my future.
