What do you wish you could do more every day?
I call myself Dan America because my name is Dan and I was born in America.
During my adolescent and teenage years I was obsessed with my Scottish and Irish heritage and identified by my heritage.
Eventually I learned that my obsession did not matter to the Scottish and Irish and to them I was an American.
I became comfortable with my identity as an American, but at the same time I began to ask myself “Why aren’t people proud to be an American?”
It does not matter to the rest of the world if you are Scottish, Irish, French, German, Italian, African, Asian, Indian, Hispanic, Spanish or whatever.
If you were born and raised then you are an American to the rest of the world.
That is why I want to create content that makes Americans proud of being an American.
I want to tell my American story as I tell other Americans, American story.
In hopes that it will enrich the American experience.
That is what wish I could do everyday.
