Having it all.

What does “having it all” mean to you? Is it attainable?

You want to have it all but you’re worried about what they will say.

There is a cloud hanging over you even if the sun was out that day.

Preaching up as far as you can reach up to climb back up from that cliff you did not see.

Memories are finding out how guilty they can be.

Every moment that did not last keeps creeping up behind the scenes.

If I could take it all away and keep my life, you know I surely would.

Time will have a laugh at what I never could.

If I had it all, my nightmares wouldn’t be what I come home to in the afternoon.

I would spend all morning making sure why I plan on saving the world is understood.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner still smells like the times when things were good.

Having it all would be if everyone understood, they wouldn’t judge you and they wouldn’t nudge you, just to nudge you to where they want you.

To have it all means to me that is that you can live the dream you dream after you’ve endured your misery.

You can’t get it unless you live it.
